Today, I had class again at 8. I really do like my teacher so class is pretty painless, except that it is so early! My friend and I exchanged books so I started reading a good book and will probably read before I go to bed. After I went to class, I went to a gym near my house to see if I could join. I walked in, nervously, knowing this would be my first experience trying to get something accomplished, in Spanish. The girl working was very helpful and was trying to understand me but I knew I wasn´t being clear. I kept trying to tell them that I wanted to join the gym but would only be here for a couple months. However, they thought I wanted to become a trainer! Ha, how is that for a language barrier?
I headed home a little frustrated but Aurora reassured me she would take me back and help me figure it out. So, I did my homework, ate lunch and took a nap, which is how I think I will end up spending most of my afternoons. Aurora showed me the post office so I could send my postcards and so she could send Bryn a birthday present. Then, we went to the gym that I had tried to go to before lunch. Aurora figured it all out and tomorrow I get to have a free day´s pass to try it out! Then, we walked around for about 3 hours and she showed me a little more of Alicante. She showed me this new plaza that I cannot wait to go to when it is a bit nicer outside. It was really peaceful and had a cool fountain. (Brittany, I am may have found my place!)
When we got back, we talked with Bryn on Skype which I know Aurora loved! I then talked with a bunch of girls at Kappa because it was move in day for them. It was weird seeing them all there. I am sad that I am not there but at the same time I am so happy and grateful to be here. It is a very conflicting feeling and I know I will be feeling it often these next couple of months.
Tomorrow I am going to go visit San Juan, which is where my friend Erin lives, about 30 minutes away from downtown. Then, Tracy, Erin and I are going to go to lunch so I have that to look forward to. I am tired from the long weekend so that is all I have for tonight!
I hope everyone has a great week! Love you all! Besitos (kisses)!
Love, Me.

Yay for my shout out! I miss you so much! I really do think that finding a special "place" somewhere in Alicante will be helpful! :) You can go there to relax, reflect, read, (I'm trying to think of something else with an 'r'...)!!! But anyway, so happy it sounds like you are enjoying yourself. MISS YOU! Love ya!
