In Aurora’s apartment, I am never really that cold, so I usually just hang out in sweats and a t-shirt. However, because the houses don’t have heating here and it is their winter, all Spaniards think that even inside it is freezing! This includes Aurora who is always wears her big robe, along with comfy slippers – a must have here in Spain. I think Aurora had a heart attack when she saw me without slippers one night while getting ready for bed. So now, I wear them religiously.
Anyways, whenever we are hanging out in la sala or eating lunch and I am not wearing a jacket, Aurora makes me go to my room and put one on. She insists I will get sick if I don’t! She must think that I do not have enough clothing because one day I returned home and she had bought me a robe. It is exactly like the one that she has, only BRIGHT orange. She is so sweet and had been thinking of me, so I try to always remember to wear it. However, I do feel kind of silly… And you can see why.
Every night, we watch TV and eat dinner in la sala together, in our matching winter wear. It is quite a sight I am sure, ha. Needless to say, I now wear my robe every time that I am here and Aurora is content. Welp, alright!
